R.D. Olson Tees Off for Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation
March 28, 2012
IRVINE, Calif. – R.D. Olson Construction, specialists in building and renovating hotels, is hosting its 3rd annual charity golf tournament for the Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation. The event will be held on April 16 at Marbella Country Club in San Juan Capistrano.
“The work of the Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation is close to our hearts,” said Tim Cromwell, Tournament Chairman of the R.D. Olson Construction Charity Golf Tournament. “This foundation works exceedingly hard to bring in funds for research to help children with cancer. It’s R.D. Olson Construction’s humble way of showing its appreciation.”
More than 80 percent of the proceeds go directly toward the fight against childhood cancers.
“Childhood cancers is the number one cause of non-accidental death in children,” said Cromwell. “Without funding, cures will not be found. It’s up to people and companies like us to do what we can.”
The day is expected to brim with activity, beginning with a catered lunch prior to the 12 p.m. shotgun start. The event will culminate with an after-tournament networking reception and silent action.
The R.D. Olson Construction Charity Golf Tournament’s gold sponsors are Marriott International, the worlds leading hotelier; A.J.
